Help with bird identification (online)
The BTO have produced a number of videos which help you to identify some of the trickier species. These are available free on the BTO website at bto.org/about-birds/bird-id. The videos compare similar species and compare differences in calls and songs as well as differences in appearance. For example one video compares Goldcrest and Firecrest.
